Photo Albums 2009 Trunk or Treat PartyOn Halloween night 2009, The First Baptist Church and First United Methodist Church joined forces to put on a Trunk or Treat Halloween Party for the children of the community. Many treats were handed out to goblins, young and old. Thanks to all who decorated their trunks and brought candy for this fun evening. View Album  Christmas Lessons and CarolsOn December 20, we celebrated Christmas with a "Lessons and Carols" service. It included several pieces presented by the choir, carols sung by the congregation, and scripture readings by our youth and pastor. It was a beautiful and meaningful worship service. Their mission was to build a house for a family there. They were successful, building the house in less than a week. View Album  Renovation of Bell Tower, Education and Administrative BuildingsDuring the week of July 12, 2009 Frank Jones and Bob Griffin took on the task of renovating the frame that held our bell in the bell tower. Beginning Sunday, July 19 the youth and youth workers began work on building rooms in our Education Building and taking out walls for a Youth Room in our Administration Building. View Album  Vacation Bible SchoolWhat a surfing good time the children and adults had at our recent Vacation Bible School. A great big thanks to all our helpers and Kay Tallent, our director. The leaders and students from Arkansas Tech University Wesley Foundation did a wonderful job implementing VBS. We are greatly indebted to them for all their hard work. Thanks, Wesley!!!
